About Harvester Financial Credit Union
Harvester Financial Credit Union was chartered in 1954 under the sponsorship of International Harvester and has operated continuously in Marion County since its inception. Through the years, Harvester Financial has completed mergers with Bridgeport Brass FCU, Missions Building FCU, and Link FCU.
The credit union has branch locations in Indianapolis and Shelbyville. The main office was moved to 7020 Brookville Road in August 1999 after the completion of the new building.
The credit union’s primary mission has been to serve the financial needs of the members and this mission continues to be the primary driving force behind the credit union today. The credit union has built a reputation of conservative soundness that has served it well. Through the years, we have enjoyed quality leadership and competent staff.
In 2008, the credit union obtained a state charter, which allowed it to expand its membership to include anyone who lives or works in either Shelby County or Marion County (excluding Pike Township). In 2020, we expanded our field of membership by adding Decatur County and Rush County.
